The English singer Ozzy Osbourne will perform on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at the Unipol Arena, in Casalecchio di Reno, near Bologna, as part of his No More Tours II tour. The English heavy metal band Judas Priest will accompany Ozzy, as the special guests of the tour.
John Michael Osbourne rose to prominence in the 1970s as the vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath. In 1979, he was kicked out of the band due to drug problems, and he started a solo career, releasing 11 studio albums to date.
Over time, both in Black Sabbath and as a solo artist, Ozzy Osbourne sold over 100 million albums. In 2006, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Black Sabbath. In 2015, Osbourne received the Ivor Novello Award for Lifetime Achievement from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors.
Unipol Arena is an indoor arena opened in 1993, located in Casalecchio di Reno, about 6 kilometers away from Bologna. The arena has a capacity of 18,000 seats.
From Bologna, you can reach the arena by train. From Bologna Centrale, you can take the train to the Casalecchio Palasport train station, located about 100 meters away from the Unipol Arena. You can also get there by bus, with one of the extraurban bus Lines 83, 94 and 671.
